Product of the Week - Tyrrell Katz Compartment Trays

These plates from Tyrrell Katz are a firm favourite in the household with my kids.

What a great way to separate food and make it a bit more fun.  The designs from Tyrrell Katz are just too cute for words.  I have quite a lot of their merchandise already and highly recommend them.

I have the Working Wheels design for toddler penguin and the Secret Garden design for baby penguin. Each tray has four compartments.  I put the meat in the large compartment (nuggets, sausages, fish fingers), carbs in the top compartment (mash, waffles, new potatoes, chips), vegetables in the circle (peas, broccoli, sweetcorn) and then dip dip in the smallest compartment.

At the end of each meal toddler penguin always points out what vehicles he can see!  Great looking item to have in your kitchen and makes mealtimes fun!

Product of the Week - Black and Decker Dustbuster

I love a gadget and this is the best gadget I own. This is the Black and Decker 7.2V Dustbuster with Cyclonic Action DV7210N. I've owned this model for 17 months now and never had a problem with it.  Its suction is amazing sucking debris from peas, rice, cooked and uncooked pasta to grains of sand.

It doesn't take up much space and is really lightweight to use.  Isn't ugly to look at and has a blow light to show its charging which also lights the floor in the kitchen which helps to see the way during those night feeds.

It is really easy to empty. A quick push of the buttons at the side and a shake into the bin empties it thought it does have quite a large capacity.  It is also really easy to clean and if left on a radiator dries really quickly.

The first charge needs to be about 24 hours and although I've never used it continuously for a long period I've used it to hoover the car in intermittent stages and it was still going after 20 minutes!

Great buy if you are looking to get a dust buster. I used this in combination with the Vileda Duactiva Broom. I find a dustbuster is great for clearing up the odd bit of debris but with two kids crumbs scatter everywhere and it is easier to sweep it all into a pile and use the dustbuster to suck it up!

Product of the Week - Vileda DuActiva Broom

Yes a broom as made it to my product of the week! I've owned the Vileda DuActiva Broom for about 6 months now and I've probably used it at least three times a day!

Downstairs I have a laminated floor hallway and playroom and a tiled kitchen/dining area.  These areas are well used and with two kids I get mud and food debris scattered about the place all the time.

This broom is great as the foam section catches all the dust and small particles.  The broom works best when you pull it towards you and the foam section easily slides out for easy washing.

The broom itself is lightweight and the handle is height adjustable with an easy twist.  My kids often use it at its lowest setting!

It is so much easier to use this to sweep your whole floor than to get the vacuum cleaner out.  I do however use my dustbuster to suck up the piles of debris I sweep.

Tesco's are currently retailing it at £8. Amazon are for £15.  Great bargain either price!
